So I recently realised how much have I’ve changed since the last two years, thanks to the kind of life I am living now – it’s called the corporate life. Now I drink tea, indulge into long boring conversations and fake my laugh, if required. And we all witness these changes. Dedicated to that changed man, here are the 9 learnings this corporate life has helped us in:

1. This is when we realise how our mom and dad got the habit of drinking chaay at least two times a day. Monaco on top of that chaay is a bonus though.

2. Getting up at 10 in the morning – even on weekdays (as we used to do in college) – was not the matter of choice, it was a matter of luck.

3. This is when we realise the real value of money – and start regretting why we spent our father’s money the way we did.

4. This is when we realise why only those people we make friends with at school – are the ones who last a lifetime.

5. This is when we realise why we should have had heard our mother when she asked us to learn guitar, dance, magic and every other extra curriculum activity, we said a NO for – as we have no time for us now.

6. This makes us realise how beautiful it was when we had nothing to do the entire day and we had to struggle thinking how to fill our day with different activities.

7. This helps us realise why it is important to compete in our life. Those nerdy fuckers we had during academics had always got that right.

8. This is when we learn why it was important to learn how to get good marks in our report card, so that we could get good evaluation at our appraisal too.

9. And yes, this phase of our life indeed makes us realise how beautiful our childhood was.
