SSC Recruitment: Job opportunities for Class 10th pass

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications from 62, 390 Indian citizens in order to fill up vacancies in Indo Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Assam Rifles.

The candidates who have qualified class 10th from a recognised Board can grab the opportunity. The candidates should fall in the age group of 18 and 23 years as on January 1, 2015. For candidates belonging to reserved category, age relaxation is applicable.

Also, the candidates should fulfill the eligibility for physical standards:

Height: Male: 170 cms, Female: 157 cms
Chest:  Male Only: Unexpanded - 80 cms, Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cms
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

The selection will be made on the basis of the performances in the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written exam and medical examination. The details about the test schedule will be provided soon, however, the written test is scheduled to take place on  October 4.
Those qualifying the final selection round will draw a salary as per the pay scale PB-1 Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP Rs 2,000.
